ADVICS's Ethics of Corporate Behavior Guideline1.Conduct suitable behavior as a member of societyContradictive behaviorWe do not behave in a contradictive way in regards to various kinds of laws as a member of society and as a member of ADVICS, and we behave sincerely according to social common sense Compliance with manner and etiquette We do not misbehave against the manner and etiquette as a member of society and as a member of ADVICS. 2. Behavior guideline in business activities(1)Behavior for fair, transparent and free business developmentBehavior for fair business We do not do collusive bidding, price bidding, join nor form cartels and constraint retail prices or combined sales that are unfair business practices. We make efforts for fair business competition and trade. Protection of small and medium sized suppliers We do not use our preferred position as a purchaser for goods and information deliverable, and do business in a sincere and fair attitude. Respect of intellectual property rights and to cooperation We respect intellectual property rights and pay attention not to use the intellectual property without permission or unauthorized use. We also comply with laws when we collect competitorfs information and do not use unfair methods. Gift-giving, business entertainment and donation We comply with laws when we accept gifts, provide and receive business entertainment and give political donations, and we do behave according to the fair commercial custom. (2)Behavior for business development considering safety and the environment Ensure productfs safety We consider details for safety at each step from product development concept to design, manufacturing and sales. Environment protection In order to protect the environment, we comply with the laws, and, as a member of society, we make positive efforts such as environment protection activities. (3)Behavior for global management We pay attention to international business laws when we make overseas business trips or engage with overseas-related business, we follow the laws of the country and respect its customs (4)Dignified behavior through social common knowledge and common sense Response to corporate extortionist and to break-in brutal power of civil affairs We do not make business, trade and establish relations with antisocial organizations that may pose a threat to order and to the safety of the civil society. Also, we do not respond to illegal business and gang-related companies that pretend to have legal business activities, and we do not relate to unfair and suspicious requirements. @@ 3. Behavior guide for a good relation between the company and the employeesBehavior that leads to the companyfs profit lossWe keep in mind that company assets and working hours are used for companyfs business activities and that these should not be used for personal gain. Handling of confidential information We maintain control of daily confidential information. We do not take out information without permission and disclose it. We also do not disclose nor leak information of learned knowledge while in service nor do we disclose nor leak information after retirement. Handling of inside information We do not trade stock by using internal information in order to get personal gain. Creating a friendly work environment We maintain a friendly working environment so that employees can have good relations with each other, build friendly relations, maintain relations and so that employees can work efficiently in a healthy and safe environment. Also, we do not take on dangerous materials and accept behavior that may cause distress to others such as , discrimination, bullying, abuse and sexual harassment.
