ADVICS CO., LTD. (Head Quarters: Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture, President: Takeshi Kawata) will establish an engineering and sales company, and a manufacturing company to produce control brake parts in China in 2011.
The new companies are being established to strengthen the company's China operations with the aim of discovering new customers and promoting sales in the aftermarket of China's automotive market, which continues to grow rapidly.
The engineering and sales company will develop and propose competitive brake systems that better reflect local needs in a timely manner by building a system that enables swift response to local customers. The new company will give ADVICS its second overseas engineering base, another being in the U.S.A.
The new manufacturing company will be ADVICS' third in China after Tianjin and Guangzhou. By starting up local production of control brake parts, ADVICS will be able to supply all fields of actuation, foundation and control brake parts within China. These new companies will be an integral part of seizing business opportunities to expand market share and grow globally as a system supplier.
By establishing the new companies in China, ADVICS will further strengthen its global network and, by watching market needs around the world and providing the very best brake systems, ADVICS aims for greater business in its efforts to deliver "safety" and "reliability" to customers around the world.
