@ADVICS CO., LTD. (Head office: Kariya, Aichi, Japan; President: Takeshi Kawata) attained Level 4 of the CMMI ®*1 Ver.1.3 which is the international barometer that evaluates and judges the level of capability maturity of software development processes as the top in domestic automotive industry*2.
In recent years, the sophistication of automobile functions has been rapidly progressing and brake parts are also required to have high performance software in development such as ESC and Vehicle Dynamics Management.
ADVICS introduced CMMI® in an effort to improve quality and efficiency of software development. Since we achieved level 2 in December, 2006, level 3 in December, 2008, we have been enthusiastic about addressing level 4, higher maturity level. As a result of audit in March, 2012, we were appraised as level 4. With the more rigorously described standards for maturity level 4 and above from CMMI® Ver.1.2, approval as level 4 is the top in domestic automotive industry and top 3 in world's automotive industry*2.
ADVICS continues its efforts to improve the quality of software development and provide high-quality brake systems to our customers in the world.
